An UI Developer is a in charge of user interfaces. He or she works designing and developing UI solutions working together with UX, product and technical area. He or she is personally responsible for the visual and technical quality of the produced work, and that this work scales and performs according to the business needs. All UI Developers are part of the UX/UI Team and being autonomous and responsible of the products they work in.
Roles and responsibilities
-Responsible for designing UI solutions working together with UX, product and technical area being a design advocate.
-Responsible for developing and testing high performance and scalable Frontend development solutions.
-Analyses and resolves technical problems of any kind within the disciplines.
-Work in an agile workflow
-Works with the business part to clearly understand the details and spread the design and technical vision to the products
-Active decision taking in key issues on the products
-Identifies and escalates risks and issues to the appropriate person depending on its nature.
-Contributes to improve the technical area.
-Technical support and guidance to team members
-At least 3 years recent relevant work experience.
-Thrive within a data-driven design culture.
-Knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, responsive design and usability
-Knowledge of HTML5 and the semantic meaning
-Knowledge of CSS Preprocessor such as Sass or LESS.
-Knowledge of version control systems as Git
-Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
-Github account or personal projects/portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work
-Performance Best Practices
-Comply with defined coding standards
-HTML5 + APIs
-Crossbrowsing knowledge and experience
-Excellent attention to details
-A doer and a good team player.
-Ability to communicate properly at a team level.
-Advanced level of english both oral and written.
