the mobile internet era. Test engineer will play an important role in
maintaining and improving on our existing businesses in the Europe. They
need to excel in supporting customer projects. It is a hands-on,
detail-oriented engineer with mobile device field testing background,
excellent communication skills and a track record of carrier mobile
device projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible
for postsales service and device testing, use advanced-level technical
engineering for the proper and proactive testing and evaluation of
mobile phones from quality, standards performance, functionality
conformance to ensure the requirements for Open market mobile software
and carrier customized software.
- Interface with corporate (Headquarter) and carriers engineering teams.
- Complete stock information plan and cost control.
- Cooperate
with marketing team for mobile project tracking, after sales cost
analysis, proposal, and operator service agreement negotiations and
signed, contract review, Service project overall planning.
- Base
on customer demand, collect the advice from logistics manager,
technical manager to make service channel mode, spare parts plan, as
well as the technical preparation and training.
- Compile
test results and write required equipment engineering reports, test
plans, and follow-up procedures to ensure that products comply with
customer requirements.
- Make recommendations to
management personnel or product development engineers on corrective
actions and effectively adapt solutions in a timely manner to ensure
correct and effective product launches and installation.
- Utilize
project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing skills
to support multiple, simultaneous projects in a matrix organization
structure.
- Seek process improvements in order to
achieve efficiency, better quality, service reliability and overall
outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication
Engineering, Electronics Engineering, a related field,
or a foreign equivalent.
- Must have experience in
telecommunications engineering and application testing, homologation
with Mexican Carriers and project management; LTE, GSM/GPRS/EDGE and
UMTS; Qualcomm tools, including QXDM.
- Homologation
with carriers required. Full proficiency in Technical English; Spanish,
French or German, etc. will be added advantage.
