Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Entrust Certificate Solution’s team! The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for grooming backlogs, developing user stories, translating requirements, and working with the agile programming teams. This position involves close interaction with other individuals throughout the business including product managers, product development, and operations to prioritize features in sprints and communicate the vision to the scrum teams. The technical Product Manager will also engage and interact with technical sales engineers, customer support and other stakeholders to facilitate proof of concepts, integrations with other products and provide training.

This role is based in our Barcelona offices; remote candidates may be considered, depending on the candidate and at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management on gathering business and technical requirements. Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories to be included in sprints

  • Maintains an open door policy with R&D at all times and drives clarity on story development

  • Understands Business to Technical and Technical to Business requirements mapping.  Anticipates and captures future related requirements

  • Builds a Release Plan from the Product Backlog and tracks/reports on the release progress

  • Acts as the voice of the customer when engaging with the scrum teams

  • Enables technical sales consultants, professional services, customer support and other stakeholders via technical product training

  • Facilitate customer and partner proof of concepts and integrations with other entrust and partner products

  • Develop technical content for sales/marketing collateral (e.g. customer presentations, white papers, competitive briefings, product demonstrations, data sheets, and FAQs)

Basic Qualifications

  • Good experience in software product-management / Product Owner or Sales Engineer

  • Knowledge in digital signing, electronic signatures and identity verification solutions  

  • Experience creating specifications for use by both technical and non-technical readers

  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing cross-functional teams

  • Excellent written communication skills and well-honed presentation skills. Able to communicate complex issues and findings in a clear, structured manner appropriate for intended audience.

  • Strong project management skills, and well-organized. Ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization for USA, Canada, Asia and Europe. Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related technical discipline

  • Experience with PKI and digital signatures, electronic signature, identity verification and identity management within BFSI, enterprise and government applications an asset

  • Knowledge of technical standards related to identification, digital and electronic signature

  • AGILE development processes experience

  • Experience working with SaaS based solutions or managed services
