Job Description

Letgo is the fastest growing mobile marketplace to buy and sell locally. We’re powering a new, secondhand economy on mobile. We’re a diverse, passionate group that’s connecting millions of buyers and sellers. We´re looking for an experienced Talent Manager to join our Barcelona team to help recruit talented people and build our employer branding in the whole Europe.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Proactively source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Extensive knowledge in technical recruitment in a growth industry
  • Identify/clarify hiring specifications and competencies, document and confirm principal requirements to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop recruiting action plans
  • Implement sourcing strategies to identify a qualified and diverse candidate pool for existing and future opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process
  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategies, programs and initiatives that improve talent retention
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with colleges/universities and professional organizations to support the organization’s talent acquisition and pipeline strategy
  • Contribute to letgo’s social media/PR/marketing strategy and cultivate a unified brand presence across multiple channels
  • Assist with HR generalist activities, including but not limited to: employee relations, compensation practices, onboarding and benefits & perks!
 
Requierements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years full-cycle recruiting experience with high volume in a startup environment: sales and technical recruitment experience a must!
  • Minimum three years’ experience in working in one of the European cities and attending startup events.

  • Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate’s fit with the position and with the company culture along with letgo’s competencies and values)
  • Able to in work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment and work with all levels of management
  • Propose and implement ongoing improvements to letgo’s recruitment efforts
  • Clear desire to make work fun and enjoyable along with helping further build and cultivate the culture at letgo
