Job Description

After individual success stories of Payroll, a Madrid-based startup that offers a Payroll solution, and Personio, an HR and Recruiting software startup based in Munich, both companies decided to join forces and become one big team. As Talent Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for finding ambitious and outstanding candidates to join our Madrid-based team and giving them an amazing experience. You will have a huge impact on the development of our Spanish office and will be the driver behind growing our team from 25 to 100 people in the next couple of months.

You will be surrounded by a hard-working bunch of people that loves our company and is humble and always willing to learn and improve. You will also be part of a larger recruiting team mainly based in our headquarters in Munich.

Depending on the development of the company as well as your experience, you will build your own team in Madrid, which will expect your guidance and mentorship.

Your responsibilities:
  • Identify hiring needs and define and implement our future-oriented recruiting strategy
  • Responsible for the end-to-end recruiting of all open positions in Madrid (mainly product and engineering positions)
  • Identify the right candidates (in Spain and the world) that will make Personio an even greater company
  • Own the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing to closing, be a trusted advisor for candidates and ensure an amazing candidate experience
  • Constantly challenge existing processes and come up with improvements
  • Identify and try out new recruiting channels and employer branding formats, aiming at building a tech brand in Europe

Your Profile

  • Own the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing to closing, be a trusted advisor for candidates and ensure an amazing candidate experience
  • More than five years of recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on tech recruiting
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Amazing organizational skills to handle a high volume of work, define scalable processes and constantly making things more efficient
  • A passion for building teams and delivering exceptional candidate experience
  • A results- and solution-driven mindset as well as analytical and KPI-driven decision making
  • Able and comfortable with working fully independent with only little guidance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
  • Full professional English proficiency (Spanish would be a plus)
  • Preference for modern tools and learning about best practices on HR
