Responsibilities:

  • Scaling our platform and being responsible for its availability
  • Designing and implementation of a reactive cloud architecture
  • Improving our continuous deployment chain
  • Troubleshooting incidents by being informed upfront with monitoring, logs and metrics
  • Having an eye on IT standards and security
  • Taking part in on-call rotation (with the team) for production systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as Systems Engineer and Software Engineer (DevOps culture)
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Excellent skills in one major programming language
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Salt
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments
  • Understanding of CI/CD
  • Experience with one of major cloud providers: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services
  • Orchestration and cluster management experience
  • Infrastructure-as-a-Code mentality
  • Good English language skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Aspiration to constantly improve yourself and learn new technologies, concepts, etc.
  • Nice colleague and team player

Nice to have:

  • Advanced JVM knowledge
  • ElasticSearch, MongoDB and Cassandra experience
  • ELK stack, Graphite, InfluxDB, Prometheus knowledge
  • Swarm, Kubernetes, Mesos/DCOS
  • Experience/interest in e-commerce solutions
