We are looking for an experienced System Engineer with passion for building new functionalities related with 5g mobile data processing. You will be part of a team passionate about packet core user plane products (EPG, PCG, MSP) differentiation space, such as traffic reporting and optimizations. Building reusable and modular components which can benefit several products with one single implementation.
As a System Engineer you will lead, together with architects and test technical coordinators, features early phases analysis. During feature development, you will be responsible for the feature functional specification, coordination with partners, product and feature documentation, etc.
You will be a fundamental pillar in bringing business and customer value and needs to the development multi-functional team. And the other way around, communicating to the product owners high level aspects of the solutions, dependencies, risks, assumptions, alliances between features, etc.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:
1) Education y languages:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, Or Doctorate Degree In Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering Or Related Field.-
- Fluent in English
2) Key Competences:
- Functional Analysis And Requirement Handling
- Solution Level Analysis And Description
- Business Value Understanding
- Experience Working With OAM Frameworks (Configuration Models, CLI, Interfaces, Etc)
- Experience Working With Standards
- Technical Understanding And Experience With 3G, 4G And 5G Packet Core Networks
- Knowledge About Traffic Detection And Policy Enforcement
3) Other desirable competences:
- Familiar With Git Tool To Manage Requirements
- Micro-Services And Distributed Systems
- Capacity And Dimensioning Experience
- Technical Sales Support Experience
- C++ Software Development And /Or Any Scripting (Python, Perl, Awk, …)
