manage users, optimize content discovery, increase advertising
efficiency and overcome technical and operational issues.
Mission
You
will be involved in testing multiple aspects of the application and
back-end service solutions: functionality, performance, reliability and
stability. You will ensure any potential issues are identified and
corrected by the development team. This means working closely with the
QA and Backend Managers at every stage.
The position will focus
first with back end services but you don’t mind helping out with
frontend manual testing if needed. This may extend in the future to UI
automation as required.
You should be able to lead, manage, and
execute all phases of quality assurance testing, including analysis of
requirements, design specification, to produce and execute manual and,
if possible, automated test scripts mapped to use cases and/or user
stories.
This person will be responsible for creating an
end-to-end test plan then executing the plan and ensure that all the
objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected.
Tasks
- Planning,
designing, developing, documenting, and executing manual and automated
testing of our application. You feel comfortable with being a manual
tester but also can adapt test automation frameworks to suit project
needs.
- Review information and documentation pertaining to features or functionality within the solution.
- Front
and back end performance testing, including API testing; Performance,
load, concurrent user and stress testing development, execution and
publishing results.
- Carrying out existing and new integration testing, unit test, end-to-end test and Junit testing to verify API responses.
- Executing test and diagnosing issues within our services and tickets, document testing results clearly and accurately.
- Helping out with the UI Automation testing will be very appreciated.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or proven skills.
- Experience with Integration, API REST and end to end testing.
- Familiar with testing tools such as: Postman (mandatory), Selenium, Soap UI.
- Able
to adapt quickly to new processes and procedures, thrive in the speed
and variety of assigned tasks, and personally driven to perform.
- Strategic
thinker, a problem solver who is a self-started and self-motivated;
well organized; flexible and effective with multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Good communication skills in english; good level of spanish would be highly valued.
