We’re looking for our second software engineer alongside our Head of
Engineering to take on a key role shaping the growth of our product.
ABOUT US
We
believe your data is valuable, you should be able to monetise it and
you should be in control of how it’s used. Our first product is a
browser extension that enables you to take control of the ads you see
online and earn money from them.
Having recently launched our
beta we have over 50,000 registered users and are growing by more than
10,000 per month. We are on track for exceptional growth over the next
12 months. Our founder, Sam Jones, was previously a Global Brand Manager
at Red Bull where he was a key figure in their world-wide advertising
and responsible for one third of their global advertising.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re
not looking for a specific front, back or full stack skillset. Instead
we’re looking for an exceptional software engineer who can get things
done. We expect you’ll fall into one of the aforementioned specialisms,
so you’ll be able to take a lot of ownership in your domain.
A sample of some of the things in our backlog that you could work on:
- Develop a new ad blocking engine for our browser extension
- Build out the user and admin dashboards
- An analytics API that can ingest millions of events a month and aggregate them for analysis
- Adding features to our online store that allows users to exchange tokens for products
- Create content marketing sites for new products and features
What you’ll be working with
For the front end you’ll be using React, Ember and good old Vanilla JS.
On the back end we use Golang to serve REST and gRPC APIs running on Kubernetes.
We use GitLab for version control and CI, Jira for tracking tasks and Slack for sending cat GIFs.
