You'll work alongside team members in Madrid and New York,
including developers, designers and product managers. Your
responsibilities will include implementing features and fixes, writing
automated tests, collaborating with your team to solve problems,
estimating tasks and delivering as much overall value to the
organization as you can. Your manager's job will be to help you be
trained, productive and balanced.
The job title is
broad on purpose. We engineers encourage each other to stay curious and
build great software. We don't want to limit ourselves to be frontend
or backend developers. That said, it would be totally okay if you had a
preference or a strength for a specific discipline or language.
We're currently in the process of adopting Scrum thanks to our VP of Engineering, an advocate of Agile methodologies. If you have worked with them that's great, but if not that's alright. We'll teach you.
We're
expecting you to be someone who is motivated to learn from your
coworkers and also capable of challenging them to be better and achieve
fantastic results.
