We are building a distributed, scalable hybrid cloud platform
that serves high volume real-time sensor data and analytics to help
maintain service levels to support some of the world’s largest
enterprises.
We have a configurable real-time stream processor for analysis of
sensor data built using Node.js, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB combined
with a data visualisation front-end tailored for the specific industries
we are targeting using Node.js, Express, Angular.js, Plottable.js and
D3.js.
In this role you’ll be working on IntelliSense.io’s core data and
analytics platform. Building out our data processing and management
infrastructure and integrating with various 3rd party services and data
sources. Our platform focuses on data processing and modeling of mining
and industrial systems to gain insight into their current performance as
well as helping optimise them.
We are using the latest tools for development (GitLab, Docker,
Kubernetes) and modern software development methodologies in an agile,
lean-based environment. If you are excited with the prospect of server
side JavaScript, Big Data processing, asynchronous communication,

The range of functions and responsibilities to be carried out include:
- Extending our data processing pipeline to be more configurable to be able to handle future applications
- Helping create a micro, service-based data processing platform that
allows for scaling of the amount of data processed and the number of
clients supported in the system
- Working with the data modelling team to integrate equipment/process models to make them ready for use in the processing
- Ensuring that the processing platform has good test coverage to ensure the platform is defect
- Building a system for configuring the processing platform for different
