Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join
our team. The ideal candidate would be a quick learner who takes pride
in what they do and who will be able to contribute to a diverse group of
projects and applications. He or she should be highly motivated and
possess a deep understanding of the latest test methodologies and
techniques. The Software Engineer in Test will work as part of a team to
design, develop, and support a growing number of exciting projects for a
wide range of clients, with a focus on web and mobile based user
interfaces.
Skills & Requirements
Responsibilities
- Write and execute tests, file bugs, investigate and communicate with our international teams about issues
- Perform manual and automated testing of our web platform
- Develop and maintain automation plans, frameworks, scripts and metrics for functional, regression and integration tests
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, databases, and code to determine breakdown source
- Collaborate with other developers on improving the existing automated tests
Position Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 1 year of Testing experience in the software industry
- Experience testing web-based APIs via scripting, postman, curl or similar
- EU work permit
Nice to Have
- Experience with Jenkins or another CI
- Experience with Java (Junit, Play), JavaScript (Karma, Jasmine, Angular, Protractor), Ruby, Cucumber
- Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL
- Knowledge of the Selenium framework
