We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented SEO Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team based in Barcelona. You will be reporting to the Head of Content Marketing, working closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
The right fit for this position is a hands-on person who wants to make a difference in a dynamic organization and help us shape the future of ABA English. You will have a strong understanding of technical SEO, as well as an eagerness to bring a global viewpoint to the overall SEO strategy, from technical to overall business initiatives.
The main responsibilities of the role will be:
- Lead all key SEO initiatives, including technical SEO projects (such as website health improvements, internal linking optimization, hreflang tags, etc.); and content projects (such as keyword expansion, continuous on-page optimization, etc.).
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities across on-page, off-page, and content marketing to drive SEO growth.
- Create clear and scalable content briefings for external providers, leading the process from start to finish (keyword research, Q/A, etc.). Take care of the day to day project management of multilingual content projects, ensuring smooth processes and timely deliveries.
- Ability to think strategically and proactively contribute to the creation of yearly/quarterly roadmaps, bringing a global vision on short-term, mid-term, and overall business objectives.
- Autonomously analyze and report on success metrics on a weekly and monthly basis (using tools such as Data Studio, Analytics, SemRush, Ahrefs, etc.) and extract insights that result in actionable initiatives.
- Develop and project manage technical SEO projects, working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including the IT department. Ability to effectively work in sprints and drive initiatives forward, clearly communicating requirements to stakeholders.
- Work closely with Marketing to uncover business opportunities cross-channel.
Desired skills:
- 4+ years of experience in SEO, working on mid-size, multi-lingual websites.
- Strong understanding of SEO strategies and best practices, both technical and content-wise.
- Ability to conduct onsite and offsite audits.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to report on changes and draw conclusions from various datasets. Strong knowledge of Excel, DataStudio, and Analytics.
- Knowledge of main SEO and Marketing tools: Google Analytics, Tags manager, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, among others.
- Ability to collaborate with team members in both technical and non-technical roles.
- Ability to draw briefings for providers and manage external stakeholders.
- Ability to interact seamlessly with internal stakeholders, including the IT department, and project manage technical and nontechnical tasks.
- Basic understanding of WordPress and HTML5.
- Knowledge of English and Spanish language.
- Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization, multi-country Spanish SEO, and Content Marketing will be considered a plus.
