We are looking for an independent SEO Manager for the UK and Ireland markets, located in Barcelona. The SEO Manager will report to an SEO Team lead.

Delivery of search engine optimisation strategy

  • Analysis and execution of search engine optimisation for all of the lastminute.com Group’s UK & Ireland digital assets

  • Produce competitor and content gap analysis

  • Conduct on-site content audits

  • Direct involvement in the development of the on-site methodology for SEO projects, identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement

  • Own all aspects of on-page optimisation and manage the creation of pages via CMS

  • Identify & implement content marketing opportunities within our outreach strategy and liaise with external partner agencies

  • Manage all day-to-day tasks such as keyword research, analysis of traffic data, log file analysis, ad-hoc optimisation requests

  • Work with the main internal and external stakeholders to drive SEO best practise and strategy

  • Execute and refine the SEO roadmap for all UK & Ireland web properties

  • Have a clear understanding of intermediate-level technical SEO

Monitoring and reporting

  • Measure performance of SEO content projects

  • Update and maintain SEO relevant on-site elements

  • Regular tracking and reporting on weekly, monthly and ad-hoc on agreed KPIs

  • Produce SEO reports detailing the impacts made

Innovation

  • Identify new areas for online development from which the business would benefit

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities amongst the Marketing team and wider business

  • Stay up to date with new developments and new search engine behaviours, social media and digital marketing, and actively research, test and propose new approaches

  • Recognise and recommend on opportunities for automating processes

  • Continuously improve SEO processes to ensure work is delivered efficiently and timely

Títulos

  • Fluency in English is a must

  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience, agency background is a plus

  • Experience working on large websites with >10,000 pages

  • Ability to interpret and analyse large amounts of complex data from multiple sources

  • Great research knowledge regarding keywords, link analysis, and search engine results, new search engine behaviours, in-depth competition analysis etc.

  • Produce regular audits of the performance of the website making recommendations using your SEO skills / knowledge to grow traffic to the sites

  • Produce ideas for new initiatives based on your keyword research data with an estimation of the likely impact to enable prioritisation of the work

  • Work closely with key stakeholders in the company to support projects and make sure their delivery is “SEO friendly”

  • Be content to work alone and in a team, be organised and relay information back to the team

  • Ability to prioritise requests and ensure agreed deadlines are met

  • Must have a creative vision with detailed content pieces + outreach

  • Experience in analysing internal linking structure

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS

  • Knowledge of structured data implementation for SEO and entity optimisation

            Specific CMS (Adobe CQ5/AEM, WordPress).

            Advanced Excel expertise.

            Tools to track evolution of rank positions and seo tools in general.

            Adobe Illustrator Photoshop or similar tools.

            Knowledge of using the social media platforms for SEO.
