SEO Analyst in Barcelona

We are looking for a JUNIOR SEO ANALYST. The purpose of this position is to play a supporting role in the crafting and implementation of search engine optimization strategies.  Since this is a junior-level position, you don’t have to have immense amounts of experience, but you do have to have a fundamental understanding of how search works, some light experience, and a knowledge of which ranking techniques are permissible by Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and which are not.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Implementation of search engine optimization strategies.

• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

• Identify areas for on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and content

• Analysis, search and optimization of bbdd keywords

• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

Requirements:

• Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools

• Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool

• A functional understanding of HTML and CSS

• The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills

• Understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO

• Grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO

• A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations

• Passionate about technology, with initiative, proactive, good team worker, eager to keep learning and innovating every day

• Minimum experience of 2 years in similar position

• Prior experience in classified projects and / or high traffic from search engines will be assessed
