Job Description
The integration specialist plays a crucial role in seamlessly integrating the custom-built content distribution solutions with telco carriers’ billing systems. They are responsible for ensuring smooth data flow, system compatibility, and efficient communication between different software components. Their expertise in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, as well as their understanding of custom development practices, enables successful integration and collaboration between various systems.
Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Collaborate with software architects and developers to design and implement custom integrations between the content distribution solutions and telco carriers’ billing systems. Ensure compatibility, data accuracy, and adherence to industry standards using custom development practices.
- API Integration: Develop, configure, and manage APIs for data exchange between different systems, leveraging PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Ensure secure and optimized API communication using REST or SOAP protocols based on the custom architecture.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve integration issues, including data inconsistencies, communication failures, and system errors using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Conduct thorough debugging, testing, and analysis to identify the root cause and implement appropriate fixes within the custom-built platform.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct integration testing using custom testing methodologies to ensure seamless interoperability between systems. Verify data integrity, transaction flows, and billing accuracy through comprehensive testing approaches specific to the custom platform.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and technical specifications within the custom-built platform. This includes API documentation, integration workflows, and troubleshooting guides tailored to the custom architecture.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software architects, developers, and database administrators, to align integration strategies, resolve dependencies, and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality within the custom-built platform.
- Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to integration and billing systems. Continuously assess new tools, techniques, and standards that could enhance integration processes within the custom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background with expertise in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript for integration tasks within custom platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of API protocols and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML) for seamless data exchange within the custom architecture.
- Experience working with custom-built platforms and an understanding of custom development practices.
- Familiarity with database design, optimization, and querying using MySQL within the custom environment.
- Proficiency in front-end JavaScript for building dynamic interfaces and integrating with backend systems within the custom-built platform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript within the custom environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
