Job Description

Media Markt, the leader multinational in consumer electronics company, is looking for a Senior web analyst to join our e-Commerce team located in Head Quarters of El Prat de Llobregat.

The Web Analyst role evolves around data; implementing and setting specifications for tracking of data, creating data reports, and working out the best ways to visualize data. The Web Analyst use data analytics to troubleshoot the website's design, with the aim of increasing page views, improving the user experience, and converting more visitors into customers. Furthermore, the Web Analyst use advanced analytics to produce concrete improvement suggestions for better decision making for e-commerce

Main responsabilities:


- Using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity
- Reporting findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand
- Communicating insights and providing solutions that have demonstrable results
- Working with web development and marketing teams to implement solutions
- Understanding the behavior and expectations of online visitors
- Staying up to date with the latest trends in online marketing and design


What we expect from you:

- Experience with data analysis tools and languages like Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, Big Query, and SQL
- Experience with tools like Hotjar, Contentsquare, VWO, Smartlook, Crazy Egg etc
- Skills and experience with tag management systems like Google Tag Manager
- Develop hypotheses based on insights from GA analysis, heatmaps and user testing data
- Understanding of CRO process and values
- Skills in Data Visualization (Google Data Studio)
- Basic knowledge about A/B testing
