To help us on this mission and to uncover what is the best learning experience for parents and their children, we’re looking for an exceptional Senior UX Researcher that will be joining our Research team.

The Senior UX Researcher owns each research project from start to finish, including creating knowledge for others to use. This is a fundamental role to us because a better understanding of our customers and buyers' needs shapes how all departments and teams make decisions, and therefore, the future of our product (or products).
The most challenging and exciting responsibilities for this role are:
- You'll plan research projects with partners to get to know our buyers and users: The reality of remote learning/homeschooling has caught us off guard during COVID, but it's here to stay. You will work closely with other agencies and external experts to launch studies on different markets to understand how each deals with this new reality.
- You'll lay the foundations of doing UX remotely: COVID not only had an impact on our clients but also on how we work. We are creating new methods and processes to do UX remotely, and you will have a word on how to do it, testing new ideas on how to get the job done..
- You'll prioritize the different research streams to work on: We never stop exploring and researching, so you will have in your hands the power to point in the direction we will be doing research on, exposing new areas to study and opportunities to pursue.
- You'll support different teams as a research expert: Our research team was born this year but we are already shedding light on areas we were unaware of before. You will be in touch with other teams across Lingokids to deliver the insights so they can make more informed decisions about the future of our product.
- You'll help test new areas in our product: We are growing fast and exploring new ideas, so you will help understand how these ideas resonate with parents and children.
- You'll test new content and activities with real users: You will work with our own (amazing) animation studio to test new videos, games and other content before it goes live.
Are you our Senior UX Researcher?
The ideal teammate for us would be someone experienced doing research in the educational and/or entertainment sector for children, especially if you have done this remotely, as it is fundamental to be successful in the role.
Other requirements we are looking for are:
- Hold a degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Science or a related field, or the equivalent in years of professional experience.
- Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Organized and self-directed, with the ability to define processes to deliver work smoothly.
- Extensive experience in testing with children.
- You are able to work remotely (don't worry, we have a fantastic office in Madrid if you live nearby and need a place to meet, but you don't need to be there on a regular basis).
It would also be great if you knew how to use remote testing tools and project management tools like Shortcut / Github, as it would help you ramp up faster in this challenge and to organize your day.
English is a must. We are a multicultural team and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.
