As a Senior QA Engineer, you will design, develop and execute exploratory and automated (functional and technical) solutions to ensure product quality. You will create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, debug, define corrective actions, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. You will actively participate in evangelizing testing culture, proactively contribute in improving testing solutions with a problem solving mindset.

Your mission @Aircall

    • Actively perform all tests required to ensure high quality deliveries including, but not limited to, manual testing, automated runs, in-depth non-regressions and exploratory testing across one or more scopes
    • Ensure accurate bug tracking of your scope by reporting clear and well detailed defects, following through and communicate fixing results
    • Follow company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the QA processes outlined in Confluence
    • Review specification (functional & technical) documentation to identify QA requirements
    • Design and draft comprehensive test scenarios/suits.
    • Develop and execute reliable and easy to maintain automated tests
    • Develop and execute load/performance tests
    • Monitor and communicate testing results and analysis
    • Work closely with the team and product to identify testing efforts, and propose an appropriate testing solution.
    • Actively pursue improving QA engineering skills, including but not limited to, problem solving, writing readable/efficient code, mastering technology in our stack, and anticipating scaling issues.
    • Contribute to continuous process and organisation improvements
    • Attend and participate to team rituals
    • Promote QA best practices and testing culture within the team
    • Ensure a strong and fluid communication with manager and all members of the team
    • Alert manager/team to any issues preventing their work from being accomplished

A little more about you

    • 8+ technical QA testing experience
    • Strong QA automation development background is a must have
    • AWS knowledge is a plus.
    • Strong ability to automate functional and technical end-to-end tests
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Strong ability to plan and execute testing during the development phases and mitigate any issues
    • Ability to multi-task, resourceful, familiar with testing tools/standardsYou have a high level of understanding about where your work fits in and how to be useful and successful on the team
    • You are passionate in delivering high quality product and amazing user experiences
    • You are able to make significant impacts in an ever-evolving and competitive landscape
    • You constantly strive for improvement and challenges are a source of motivation for you.
    • You have a prior experience in functional and automation testing
    • You have a prior experience with agile development methodologies
    • You are autonomous and highly organized
    • Proficiency in English
    • Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
    • Agile/scrum team experience
    • ISTQB training (or similar) is a plus.
