Who you are:
We
are looking for a highly analytical and passionate Senior Product
Manager to join Vrbo’s Growth Product team to drive the delivery of
highly impactful traffic acquisition features.
You'll
leverage qualitative industry insights alongside our quantitative
analytics systems to influence the product strategy and roadmap, produce
specifications that unlock the business’ ability to efficiently capture
traveller demand at scale, develop, test, and iterate new features, and
work closely with growth marketing, analytics, design and engineering
to ensure quality deliverables on-time.
Based in
Madrid, this is a global role that focuses on traveller engagement and
conversion through the optimisation of Vrbo site components displayed
throughout the shopping experience (e.g. search box, social sharing).
What you will do:
Establish
the product vision, goals, roadmap, priorities, A/B testing strategy
and rollout plans for products within the growth portfolio
Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
Proactively
engage with multiple departments across the organisation (e.g.
marketing, analytics, engineering, and data science teams) to gather
feedback and requirements, solve problems and identify trends and
opportunities.
Drive product development with a team of best-in-class engineers and designers following agile methodologies
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements
Define and execute A/B tests that inform the success of products
Manage
trade-offs between cost, schedule, and business benefit, and ensure
successful delivery of features in production that meet customer needs.
Understand Vrbo’s evolving strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
Who you are
Strong
professional experience in data-driven product optimization: is able to
interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate action
plans to support decisions.
An initial and
proven related experience managing e-commerce technology products,
including proven knowledge of software development methodologies,
understanding of typical technology architecture for high volume
websites, gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed
functional design specifications.
Passion for data, technology, and innovations in the field of Machine Learning.
Excellent
communication skills (written and verbal); proven ability to work with
cross-functional teams to drive execution against project milestones and
deliverables.
A strong of competency with
project management, including issues and risk identification and
management, tracking; demonstrated strong attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
A
self-starter who demonstrates initiative and tenacity while working
independently. You will thrive on challenges and not be deterred by
difficult situations. You will work proactively rather than reactively.
