We are looking for a talented marketing professional who will thrive and enjoy managing the relationships from a marketing standpoint with our partners and is comfortable owning the full life cycle of the campaigns from idea to execution.

The Senior Manager Partner Marketing Spain and Portugal will be based in Madrid and requires travel across domestically and to our EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.

As a key point of contact for marketing in regards to partnerships,the candidate will be instrumental in the cross-functional efforts with business development, product, content and marketing to significantly impact the region. Interaction with stakeholders internally and externally will be an important part of the role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the partner marketing strategy across Spain and Portugal; Implement strategies and tactics to improve effectiveness and results working closely with our partners;
  • Work closely with the product and business development teams to identify opportunities to maximize Netflix exposure on partner channels and engagement on partner devices;
  • Identify the most impactful and organic opportunities while developing and launching creative marketing programs that maximize the results for the region and titles as well as for the partner;
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external creative teams on the development of campaigns elevating both the Netflix and title brands;
  • Host and lead regular business reviews with the partnersto evaluate performance, present content slates align on marketing goals and business objectives;
  • Gather and implement in partnerships strong market and cultural insights that are relevant to support the overall Netflix marketing strategy for the region.

Qualifications - The successful candidate

  • Will thrive in our Culture;
  • Senior experience working with the Entertainment/Content industry is a plus(i.e. digital distributor, pay-tv, telecommunication, movie studio, video games, music industry, etc).
  • Previous experience in co-marketing opportunities via partners, driving BTL and ATL strategies, brand partnership program strategies, setting successful go to market plans on all channels (off and online), negotiation with C-level marketing stakeholders.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility in travel.
  • Fluency in English, native Spanish is required and Portuguese nice to have but not necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple projects both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in both business and creative challenges in the market: the ability to effectively provide input on creative marketing campaign development from a local market perspective.
