Twilio is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who wants to design, develop, deploy and operate Machine Learning services and algorithms at scale to power the next generation of ML-powered communication products.
- You will work on natural language processing and understanding, dialog management, and training pipelines with a focus on high availability and scale.
- You bring deep experience in machine learning and complex distributed systems, and are comfortable with production systems.
- You have an in-depth understanding of the algorithmic side of machine learning, as well as proven experience with language understanding systems and constituent components, such as word sense disambiguation, entity recognition, and parsing.
- You have expertise with ML and NLP tools (TensorFlow, spaCy, scikit-learn) and you are comfortable interfacing with data pipelines and data stores such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
- You engage with the machine learning community and understand how advances to the state-of-the-art can power products.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be working alongside a collaborative team of engineers building Twilio's next generation machine learning products. In doing so, you will create, own and operate machine learning algorithms, as well as the REST APIs, microservices and data pipelines that help us power products with machine learning. As we develop and grow the team, you will mentor junior engineers on the team as well as be part of the interview team on new positions.
