YOUR MISSION
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developer to join our market data team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements the applications that users see and interact with, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business. One of your first missions will be to create from scratch a map application based on React, well modularized and fully tested, which will consume team’s API (also made from scratch). The performance will always be crucial in the application. At realxdata you get a chance to work with the latest technologies using SCRUM methodology.
YOUR PROFILE
Required Qualifications
- Grade/master’s in computer science, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
- 3+ years of experience developing single-page applications
- 3+ years of experience developing with React, NPM, and Webpack
- Sense of ownership
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Sense of humour and great team player
- Experience with agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- A technical degree
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with test frameworks and tools
- Experience in data visualisation using High charts or D3.js
- Good understanding of web security aspects
- Experience with agile engineering practices such as TDD, BDD and CI/CD.
