Parkling is a leading provider of on-street parking prediction services. Parkling’s key customer groups are the automotive industry and smart cities. With its leading edge technology to predict on-street parking Parkling provides a major contribution to reduce inner city traffic by up to 30%. Parkling has recently secured a major growth funding round. For the global expansion of its service in cities across Europe and North America, Parkling is strengthening its tech team.

As a Senior Backend Developer at Parkling, you will play an essential part in our backend development related to maps and routing. You will own the integration of maps, on-street parking prediction data and other static parking data, routing and turn-by-turn navigation into our backend system. Taking the lead, you will deliver a resilient, scalable backend solution and support our deployment process while following best practice devops strategies.

About you:

You enjoy working with Python
You have some experience with Java
You have experience with AWS

Bonus experience (nice to have):

You worked with GIS data
You had some touchpoints with Graphhopper
You have experience handling large amounts of data
You have experience with IoT
