• You will contribute to define the native mobile app architecture and/or code patterns.
• You will undertake code reviews.
• You will produce detailed technical specifications ready-for-development for other team members and contracted developers.
• As we are in the startup stage, you will also code and do the usual tasks of the SDLC.

• 5+ years as Android developer for native apps (API 19+).
• Extensive experience in producing detailed technical specifications.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, architecture patterns.
• Knowledgeable about DevOps best practices, Test Automation and CI/CD.
• Ability to analyze performance of applications, design and execute performance tests.
• 3+ years of architecting and development experience in:
• Android Studio, Java and Kotlin (Valuable).
• MVVM and MVP architecture patterns.
• API design and implementation.
• All app core components: activities, fragments, services, content providers and broadcast receivers.
• Writing multi-threaded/asynchronous code with solid understanding of process and thread model.
• RESTful services and WebSockets for apps-backend communications.
• Realm and Room-SQLite.
• Google Analytics and Crashalytics (Fabric) or AppSee for analytics and tracking.
• Integrating Optimizely or similar for A/B testing and experimenting.
• Security and IAM/SAML and/or OAuth/OpenID.
• Android native Contacts Provider framework.
• Android native calls management and log frameworks.
• Offline/online status management architectures and code patterns.
• Apps-server data synchronization architectures and code patterns.
• Messages queuing and pub/sub technologies like RabbitMQ, Redis, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS.
• Grade on Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English, spoken and written. You will be part of an international team.
