Key responsibilities


Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales targets and KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong and long lasting restaurant partner relationships across both the independent takeaway sector and larger chains/franchises
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition to our restaurant partners, to drive both acquisition and increased engagement
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the sales team to create a high performing sales culture
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to fully activate our restaurant partners to drive brand awareness and order growth in every territory
  • Leverage brand opportunities by establishing relationships with the largest restaurant chains and key strategic sector partnerships
  • Optimise the use and full potential of all sales tools and data insight to drive effective performance in the sales process and the sales team
  • Influence and work collaboratively and coherently with other support functions to ensure delivery of the sales vision (help you deliver your sales vision)
  • Establish key contacts, relationships and connections across the wider sector - be plugged into the industry and represent JUST EAT at appropriate industry events and forums
  • Develop a deep understanding of the takeaway sector, trends and the competitive landscape
  • implement a strategy for researching potential new markets, customers segments, value added products and services
  • Account Management: establish and maintain personal relationships with key partners and prospects

Required skills and experience

  • Proven track record of personal over-achievement against sales targets

  • Proven track record in leading a national B2B sales team and driving a high performance culture

  • Strong commercial acumen demonstrated through past experience and an understanding of the B2B2C sales model

  • Experience of leading a geographically spread field sales team

  • Commercial awareness and experience of dealing with franchises and chains, winning business and developing deep and long lasting relationships

  • Strong understanding of the B2B marketing environment and working collaboratively cross function to achieve success

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Degree level education or equivalent

  • Ability to think strategically and develop, communicate and implement a compelling vision and plan

  • Demonstrable experience of being a credible representative at major industry events, conferences, tradeshows and/or expositions

  • Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth environment

  • Fluent in Spanish and high B2 level of English

  • At least 8 years sales experience
