Sales Director



As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and excellent team leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong customer-facing experience, preferably from a SaaS HCM (Talent Management, E-Learning) company. Furthermore, you have proven experience in closing six-digit projects in license sales. The Sales Director will orchestrate a small, successful team of Key Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Inside Sales and Marketers to ensure Speexx continues to be at the front in our industry.



Here’s what you’ll do:


    • Direct responsibility for the sales team
    • Be the commercial spearhead for Speexx in the Spanish market
    • Hands-on negotiation and field activity on large bids / tenders
    • Close cooperation with the Management team in Germany, being part of the international sales team
    • Analyze business trends and pipeline status
    • Create and execute local growth & territory plan
    • Identify customer requirements, possible implementation solutions as well as consultancy in line with the Speexx product portfolio
    • Facilitate sales reporting to ensure those in the field have information to make decisions


Here’s what you’ll need:


    • An advanced degree in a business related subject
    • Past achievements in delivering yearly quotas in excess of 500k Euro on product license sales
    • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
    • The ability to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
    • A structured way of working and the ability to maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, further languages are an advantage
    • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
    • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to coach and govern
