We at PredictX are looking for a strong QA Manager to join our
offices in Madrid. We are a relaxed and friendly environment and want
people who are enthusiastic about technology who want to grow their
skills. PredictX is a fast growing company based in 3 different
countries and we are looking for like-minded people who want to be a
part of our revolution. Our technology stack includes: Git, Bitbucket,
Java Spring, Angularjs, Jmeter, Jenkins, Docker, Selenium Webdriver,
SonarQube, Maven, Cucumber-jvm.
The QA Manager will do both hands on management and testing. They
will be taking care of the management, coaching and co-ordination of the
testing team as well as still be able to do hands on tasks themselves.
They will boost and defend QA methods and flows for the company and
importantly, within the teams.

Key responsibilities
Lead the testing team process and work closely with the development team during sprints
Analyse requirements and design specification
Create infrastructure for testing environments, with knowledge & experience around continuous integration.
Write/Review test specifications for functional testing
Perform manual functional testing
Verifying fixes and build tasks
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
Report issues and anomalies
Documents test results, release notes and troubleshooting guide needed for field support.
Monitor issue logs and provide status reports
Recruit more members of the testing team over the next year (current team of 3)
Requirements
You will have a good knowledge of software development and testing methodologies
A strong desire for quality, an attention to detail, and a determination to ensure deliverance of the best products.
Proven experience on virtualised infrastructure and containers (Rancher, Docker).
Experience with TDD & BDD
Experience with git & Jenkins in a Continuous Integration environment for back-end (Java) and front-end (AngularJS)
At least 3 years experience with automation testing.
Comfortable with working in a high pressured environment where scope and priorities are regularly reviewed and changed.
Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
