At Agroptima [1] we’re developing a SaaS made with farmers and for farmers. Our product helps farmers to
manage and improve their farms using a mobile app to record their field activities and a web-based app to
analyse all generated data.
We’re looking for an open-minded, flexible person able to deal with all the challenges that a small but
growing startup has to overcome. You’ll work in a team with 3 backend developers, 2 frontend developers, 1
mobile developer and 1 UX designer, reporting directly to the CTO.
Currently we are doing automated unit testing and manual end-to-end testing and as a QA Automation
Engineer, your task will be first to setup the end-to-end test automation system and later to maintain and
grow it. Our idea is to use Selenium and Appium with Python as Python and Javascript are the 2 main
languages of the company, and we are also considering to use BDD with Behave, but we are open to
discuss the whole setup and your contribution will be more than valued.
As every company, we use our own fork of Agile. We are not strictly using TDD, but we encourage
automated tests writing and have a decent coverage. Pair programming is also encouraged. In our stack we
have: postgres, django, fabric, ansible, ember.js, react.js, cordova.js, leaflet.js, etc. And some of the tools
we use are: GitHub, JIRA, Rollbar, Papertrail, Slack, Google Apps.
What do we need:
- At least 2 year of experience in QA.
- Experience in Functional and Manual testing.
- Experience in QA Automation ideally with Selenium and/or Appium in SaaS domain.
- At least 2 year of experience in writing code in an OO language, ideally Python.
- Bonus points for knowledge of tools like locust, Jmeter, SouceLabs, CircleCI, RobotFramework.
- Bonus points for experience in django, ember.js, react.js or cordova.js.
- Bonus points for open source contributions.
