The Mission: As a product owner for fw/electronic developments you will work very closely with our Product Manager to understand the business requirements and translate them into product requirements. You will then be responsible for scheduling releases and coordinate the development with your assigned development teams.
You will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, evaluating and accepting the work generated by the development teams in order to ensure the most valuable and impeccable features and functionality of the product.
Activities/Responsibilities
- You will guide the firmware/electronic development teams as the Product Owner
- You will provide vision and direction to the development team and other stakeholders
- You will work closely with Product Management to define product requirements (PRD), acceptance criteria and maintain a product backlog
- You will define a release plan and ensure delivery according to it; making sure that the required tests and acceptance process are performed, ensure the delivered product is ready for market and validate the product description
- You will provide updated technical requirements to the development team and ensure they always have an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- You will be playing an active role in mitigating obstacles impacting successful completion of the agreed development goals, and ensure product compliance to market needs, costs and timeline
- You will have a detailed view of the development status and its calendar and raise alerts and take corrective actions when required
- You will collaborate on writing technical information documents.

At the end of 1st month:
- You will have clarity on the strategy of the company and the vision of the product
- You will have a clear picture of the departments involved in product development
- You will understand how to obtain product requirements
- You will have a clear view on the development process
- You will understand the different stakeholders (internal and external) and how they are related to the product
- You will understand the market solution and how it works.
At the end of 1st quarter:
- You will write the product requirements and the product description documents
- You will be able to collaborate with the development team
- You will understand what value means for the product
- You will be able to create a releases roadmap.
At the end of 2nd quarter:
- You will lead and control product development
- You will propose improvements to the products and the development process
- You will be the owner and accountable for the execution of the product backlog according to the agreed release plan
- You will make sure that the required tests and acceptance process are performed to ensure the delivered product is ready for market
- You will ensure the maintenance of the delivered products
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner (or Technical Product Manager) for a least 2 years.
- Knowledge and experience with hardware electronics and firmware development.
- MA in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar relevant field
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
