Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Product Manager to be part of an energetic team dedicated to improving our highly innovative language learning platform.

Our aim is to create amazing customer experiences to help millions of people improve their communication skills. ABA is solving the language learning problem by combining new technologies with years of experience in traditional learning methods.

Even though we already differentiate from other players in the booming EdTech space with our unique combination of content, methodology, and automation, we are just getting started.

Things are changing fast and there are many opportunities to improve so we need you to join us on our journey to the top!

We want you to be proactive and not strictly tied to a job description, but there are some key things you will be doing

  • Be the ultimate owner of your part of the product roadmap, aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.

  • Be a Product storyteller: communicate both internally and externally the product vision and strategy through great stories that connect all the dots around the user journey.

  • Be evidence-driven, making decisions based on existing data coming from various sources and by creating new data points through experimentation and testing.

  • Be a lean champion, embracing and evangelizing a lean development philosophy with the stakeholders and the development team.

  • Be an Agile Product Owner, translating the product roadmap and strategy into incremental, actionable user stories and tasks. Work together with development teams to implement, test and validate the product roadmap.

  • Be in touch with the English e-learning marketplace and the Barcelona startup ecosystem. Be on top of the competition, and explore and bring in third-party tools and technologies that help the product to grow.

We believe in people with potential, but this is what we expect that you have already achieved

  • 3+ years of experience managing online products. Bonus points for digital consumer products, subscription services or e-learning.

  • Deep understanding and track record in managing all the phases of the Product Life Cycle.

  • Proven analytical skills - a good understanding of analytics (several tools) and interpretation of data as well as the core drivers of the business.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to explain actions taken and outcomes achieved in a simple and clear way.

  • Strong focus on teamwork and the ability to manage relationships across multiple departments and external partners if necessary.

  • True love for the core Agile principles and experience in applying it through different frameworks and methodologies.

  • Multiple examples of when you were able to put outcome before output.

  • An active interest in what's going on with all things digital.

  • High level of English, of course :).

We want you to come to visit us and "feel" the culture, but we want to let you know what you can expect to see

  • A transparent work environment with diverse, autonomous and goal-focused teams. Working in an international, vibrant and fast-paced company.
  • Team breakfast every Friday.
  • Spanish and English classes for everyone.

- Benefits:

Flexible working hours.

Half/day Fridays.

Team building activities.

Free snacks and beverages (fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices).

Discounted gym access: Exercise your muscles as well as your brain!

Flexible Retribution (kindergarten check, food check, transport check, and health insurance).

You'll enjoy a longer maternity/paternity leave.

Massage therapy.

Extended holidays.
