Job Description

Our Experience Design Studio is building a world-class in-house team. We are seeking a Principal UX with a track record in creating and delivering marketing activations, scalable digital products and content to engage consumers globally for our Barcelona office.

Your role within our Kingdom

A crucial member of the leadership team, reporting to the Director of Experience Design based in Barcelona, you oversee multiple workstreams holistically with marketing and game leads to delivering innovative and entertaining experiences to players globally.

Remaining hands-on throughout all phases, you continually cultivate a culture of customer-centric thinking throughout the organisation. Your actions reflect holistic thinking allowing you to create the team you need for success, able to mentor contributors, leaders and stakeholders.

You effortlessly apply design methods and methodologies, not as a tool to solve execution problems but influence customer-centric thinking at all levels of the organisation. You lead teams to identify, frame and solve hard problems effectively while uncovering new opportunities for value creation.

Skills To Create Thrills
  • Partner closely with other key cross-functional stakeholders, particularly CRM, to drive required changes advancing our end-to-end customer experience, content strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Spearhead and develop optimisation strategies for specific in-game marketing communications and marketing activations
  • Champion and implement CX/UX tools and methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge utilising Design Thinking, Lean UX and Agile methodologies to shape real change, value opportunities and forward-thinking design for high impact results.
  • Take on direct reports and provide guidance, oversight, and mentorship to the team that can drive optimisation of key in-game and consumer-facing opportunities
  • Set expectations, help promote a fun, highly collaborative team culture, and continue building the team as we grow
  • Benchmark CX/UX trends, consumer needs, and competitor moves
  • Identify and prioritise high-impact marketing opportunities and challenges under pressure, across multiple workstreams.
  • Build a culture and system that inspires the marketing organisation to become even more customer-centric in their efforts to support our customer needs by leveraging insights generated
  • With our program manager, oversee project timelines and deliverables, guide production pipeline and communicate evolving project objectives and KPIs
  • Ensure the team delivers exceptional design deliverables; set and exceed best practices and standards, measurable impacts, and design integrity

  • You have substantial experience in product, marketing, and user experience design resolving briefs and putting concepts in motion
  • Have a background in gaming or real personal passion for it - particularly elevating the mobile gaming experience.
  • You have a solid understanding of CX/UX strategies best practices, principles, and models
  • An energetic all-around seasoned professional with exceptional communication, interpersonal and time management skills able to adapt quickly to change
  • Experience working with CRM programs and teams to implement impactful CX and UX solutions across various channels
