What do we do?

In the Marketing Team we are in charge of the acquisition and monetization of traffic to internal or external products. We are in charge of high-concurrency and high-volume components.

What will you do?

  • Triage, diagnose, and solve problems in a high traffic environment
  • Refactor and extract our monolith components into microservices
  • Maintain our existing components and add new features to them
  • Write unit, functional, integration, and E2E tests
  • Participate in all the steps of the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in discussions related to improving performance and scalability
  • Document existing and new systems and components
  • Share knowledge with your colleagues about best practices and new technologies

How do we work?

We work as a team, where everyone is accountable, friendly, and always willing to help. We come from different backgrounds, and we encourage a multidisciplinary profile where the main focus is on the backend, yet still includes devops and a little frontend tasks. Each member may be involved in any step of the process, from analysis and development to CR, QA, and deployment.

We use SCRUM, we do daily meetings, grooming sessions, retrospective and planning meetings for each sprint.

Requirements

We are looking for a talented and passionate developer to support us on breaking our legacy PHP monolith into microcomponents using AWS.

What do we need from you?

  • Strong PHP knowledge, OOP patterns and SOLID principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with SQL databases (NoSQL is a plus)
  • Open to work with different languages depending on project needs (GoLang, NodeJS, JAVA)
  • Interest in DevOps related technologies (AWS, Terraform)
  • Basic knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD (CircleCI, Jenkins)
  • Experience working in Agile environment (SCRUM)
  • Fluent English
