Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised candidate who will be working directly with our CEO to support the general running and operations of the company. You will be involved with everything from assisting with lead generation, marketing, managing project progress, to setting up new company processes.

Bonus points for candidate with startup experience or has worked in a similar role before (eg. business analyst, marketing manager, etc.)

SALARY: 30,000 - 40,000 GBP depending on level of experience

WHAT DO WE DO?

At Qflow our vision is to transform the way we build our cities, by using real-time data from construction sites to eliminate environmental and social impact.
We are building an integrated platform capable of gathering and aggregating huge volumes of environmental telemetry data in real-time (noise, vibration, air quality, water etc), identifying areas of high risk to prevent incidents from occurring and causing irrevocable damage. This creates an approach for proactive management, helping site teams to make better decisions for improving the sustainability performance of some of the largest infrastructure projects in the world. We are utilizing machine learning techniques to reveal intricate relationships and pioneer real-time data analytics in an industry which is under increasing pressure to deliver low-impact projects.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

If you are extremely organised, like to develop efficient processes and put them in place, oversee progress, and supporting anything needed for the company to run smoothly, then this is the perfect position for you.

You will need strong communication and storytelling skills, both orally and written, and be able to work towards tight deadlines. We are a very honest and open team, we love feedback from all angles and want to lead our clients in radical transparency. We endeavour to create a supportive environment and would love you to be comfortable challenging assumptions and giving feedback to everyone, we will help you grow in confidence with doing this.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
[main role]
o PR & Marketing: Assist in writing thought leadership articles, preparing for expo’s and events and developing company narrative
o General support of the CEO from time to time: this may include assisting the CEO in fundraising, schedule meetings, prepare documents, research and provide information on who we are going to meet.
o Growing the company: Establish any supporting infrastructure and processes that the company needs as we grow. Manage the facility or potential office moving, coordinate with external team when needed to hire contractors etc.
o Growing the team: e.g. supporting hiring and on-boarding, support culture development in panning social events and assisting in enacting PDPs

o Finance & Project management: Manage project progress and finance to go according to plan. Write quarterly reports to investors and grants’ monitoring officer.
o Legal and Compliance: GDPR, review contracts and partnership agreements, coordinate with lawyers if needed.
o Customer Support and Product Feedback: be the first contact point for the company - answer any enquiry and re-assign the task to appropriate team to look after.

You will not be expected to do all of this on day 1, we will work with you to develop your skills and experience across a range of areas. All we ask is that you are proactive, and comfortable getting stuck in beyond your comfort zone, and telling us if it’s too much.
