What your new job can look like… Most days can involve a mix of:

  • writing high quality open source code.

  • reviewing code.

  • writing automated tests.

  • triaging and raising attention to bugs.

  • designing and documenting the implementation of new features.

  • providing leadership and advice to other developers.

  • presenting on technical topics at meetings (including our awesome MoodleMoots around the world).

  • monitoring our community forums for advice and feedback.

  • joining in the Moodle developer community.

  • contributing to the future direction of the Moodle software.

  • ...and having a laugh with your team...

We would love to meet you.

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

  • minimum 3 years programming experience in a medium to large scale development environment.

  • good knowledge of databases and SQL, HTML5, CSS, PHP, Javascript and Ajax.

  • good knowledge of web application security, performance and scalability.

  • ability to organise your own workload in order to meet deadlines.

  • awesome relationship management skills.

  • enthusiastic and approachable personality.

  • excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • availability to work in Perth, Australia or Barcelona, Spain (remote workers will also be considered but previous Moodle development experience will be required).

Extra awesome if you can share:

  • your exposure to Moodle architecture.

  • any contributions to open source projects.
