Overview

The fitness and health industry is growing exponentially fast around the world. As an Office Manager (f/m/d) for Urban Sports Club in Madrid, you are a critical member of the team, keeping the daily functions and systems of our busy, high growth, faced-paced office in smooth working order! The role will be a hybrid of an office manager and administrative assistant, supporting our Managing Director and the Iberia - team.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Greet clients, candidates and anyone that comes through our door with a smile
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of food/snacks/beverages for kitchen ad well as office supplies
  • Onboard new hires with the HR team
  • Plan events for the team
  • Manage administrative topics (such as expenses and booking travel) for our Managing Director and others on the team, as needed
  • Be the administrative go-to person of our externalized accounting partner
  • Support the Managing Director in the search for larger offices when relevant


Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of office support experience in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Friendly, personable and gets along with many different personality types
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working within/managing a budget
  • Basic event planning and coordination
  • Flexible and excited to work on whatever will drive a better, happier office and culture
  • Excels in a startup environment by staying organized, not being afraid to take initiative and willing to jump in and help wherever needed
  • Spanish is your native language and you are able to communicate with our Headquarters in English. Portuguese is a plus
