NodeJS Engineer in Amsterdam

In order to strengthen the team based in Amsterdam and prepare for expansion of both the product and geographies, we are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking NodeJS Engineer.

• Work in a cross-functional team with product owners, front-end developers and designers
• Participate in our agile development lifecycle from Sprint-Planning to Retrospective
• Develop new services for our micro-service driven platform
• Develop automated Tests
• Optimize performance
• Understand customer behavior and create positive improvements

• Want to be part of an international, dynamic and entrepreneurial team
• Are enthusiastic about software development
• Have a minimum of 5 years of professional development experience
• Have a minimum of 3 years of professional NodeJS Development experience
• Have experience with ECMAScript 2015 (ES6)
• Are a clear communicator
• Have a completed bachelor or master degree in software engineering or similar degree is preferred
• Have experience with Agile Development, TDD and/ continuous integration
• Have experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis is a plus
• Are always curios about new technologies
• Fluent in speaking and writing English
