What is Taxfix?
Taxfix is a well-funded tech startup in the heart of Berlin. It is our mission to make tax declarations easy!
We
believe that everybody, regardless of their income, deserves to get the
maximum out of their tax returns. We have a vision that by using
Taxfix, everyone will be able to submit their taxes, with the best
results possible, in a matter of minutes from their mobile phone. We
have developed our first public prototype and we got great feedback. The
Taxfix app will soon be launched!
The team
Our
team has a proven record in creating products that help people improve
their lives. We share a passion for product development and a great user
experience. We are a nice, small and international team, with a
hard-working attitude, non-bureaucratic processes and open
communication.
We work in a multidisciplinary product team and we
build elegant user interfaces using an exciting tech stack of React
Native for our iOS app and future Android app. We use modern JavaScript
across our stack, from our node.js API to our React Native view layer
and React-based internal tools.
The role
We
are looking for an experienced and talented QA Test Engineer to join
the team and define the overall test and release strategy for our mobile
application (iOS) and soon (Android).
You will collaborate
closely with a multi-disciplinary team to make sure our users have a
great and simple experience running their tax declaration in our app.
You will own the quality of Taxfix mobile applications.
Requirements
You're the right fit for the team if:
You have a good knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes in agile environment.
You
can identify process challenges, technology challenges and deficiencies
that need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful
adoption.
You can design and implement Integration Tests, UI
Tests, Functional Tests and the testing infrastructure for an iOS and
Javascript environment, and Android later on.
You have good
written and verbal communication skills and you can be an interface
between Product Development, Design, Business and Customer.
You share our passion for product development and user experience.
You are able to work independently and own a project, but you also love team work!
You are pragmatic and work autonomously with a strong positive attitude and overcome challenges with passion.
