BillPro is about to launch a new modular banking and payment
services offer for fintech and payment companies, allowing them to use
banking services to enhance their business model. As a new brand in a
relatively new segment of the industry, we are looking to position this
offer as a complete banking solution. We seek a Marketing Manager to
oversee the Marketing team and deliver on our strategic plan for a
successful brand launch in early 2019.
You will have a passion for fintech and the initiative to stay abreast of constant industry developments.
Major Functions:
Implement the strategic plan, including budgeting and reporting.
Oversee the marketing team including a Brand Manager, Digital Marketing Officer, Graphic Designer and several interns.
Liaise
with internal stakeholders, mainly the Commercial team, to ensure the
Marketing activities are in line with the broader business strategy,
market trends and customer needs;
In partnership with
the Digital Content Specialist, you will manage and implement the
digital strategy (a large part of which will be the content driven) in
line with strategy to maximise brand awareness and reach, as well as
drive quality leads through digital content.
Manage and
implement the event strategy by sourcing speaking, exhibition and
sponsorship opportunities in line with strategy to maximise brand
awareness and quality lead generation at events.
Manage and develop PR and media relationships, as well as the distribution of our own content, including press releases.
Skills Required:
5+ years experience in a marketing managerial role, preferably in the payments / fintech or financial services space
A marketing generalist with a hands on approach
The
industry necessitates that our business remains agile in the face of
new developments. You are comfortable to be flexible to move the plan
in different directions should the strategy shift or as new target
audiences emerge.
You take a collaborative approach to
your work to ensure marketing activities are intertwined with all other
business departments.
