Market Intelligence Intern in Barcelona

Scytl, the leading provider of online voting and election software solutions worldwide, is currently looking for a Market Intelligence intern to join the Marketing team in its headquarters in Barcelona.

Duties and Responsibilities:

One of the responsibilities of the Marketing Department is to drive market research and competitive intelligence activities to compete most effectively in the election marketplace and maximize the company’s business performance.

The Market Intelligence intern will report to the Director of Marketing.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out in-depth market research and assisting in the sizing of specific market segments.
• Supporting the marketing team in analyzing the competitive landscape and identifying potential new competitive threats.
• Monitoring country legislation and outcomes of election observation missions.
• Supporting the identification of short term and long term market trends.
• Providing cross-department support to the marketing team including website and CRM updates.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be pursuing a Market Research, Political Science or Marketing university degree (or related area of study).
• Fluency in English with proficiency in additional languages being a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Familiar with Internet based search tools and capabilities
• Advanced in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
