At Criteo, we connect 1.4 billion active shoppers with the things they need and love. Our technology takes an algorithmic approach to determining what user we show an ad to, when, and for what products. Our dataset is about 45 petabytes in Hadoop (more than 90 TB extra per day) and we take less than 10ms to respond to an ad request. This is truly big data and machine learning without the buzzwords. > Lead a team of full stack software engineers in developing, testing and implementing new features
> Drive a philosophy of continuous improvement across all aspects of the team's work
> Lead team discussions about technologies, web architecture and contribute to decisions
> Collaborate closely cross-department to ensure the best architectures and products
> Participate in development tasks alongside team members
> Contribute to promoting a strong engineering culture across R&D, especially in front end web development
Your profile
  • BS/MS in Software Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of industry experience building fast, reliable, real-time web based applications
  • 2+ years managing high performing teams that promote a culture of excellence
  • Very knowledgeable about modern web technologies (such as modern JavaScript ES5-ES6, CSS, HTML) - and eager to learn new ones !
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries (e.g. Redux, RxJS,...), modern frameworks (e.g. Angular , React,...) is a plus
  • Product minded: committed to building the best user experience
  • Great oral and written communication and presentation skills in English (French is a plus)
  • A "can do" attitude and the ability to work on problems by thinking positively and in a collaborative manner
