Bookassist
is a multi-award winning and leading provider of online booking
technology, distribution technology, web design and digital strategy
services to the hotel industry internationally. Bookassist creates,
manages and continuously optimises digital strategies for hotels and
hotel groups. We drive our clients’ online business and seek to obtain
higher and higher conversion to improve direct booking on our clients’
hotel websites.
Bookassist
is expanding rapidly with additional offices in Madrid, Paris, Rome,
Vienna and Prague and a client base of over 2000 hotels.
We are looking for Java Developer to join our expanding Development team in our office in Madrid.
Responsibilities

Assist in the design, coding, and testing for technical solutions.

Good understanding of project and development plans.

Archive challenging goals through ongoing learning. Focus on planning.

Adhere to coding standards defined by technical Architects of the team, using our development tools.

Gather input from mentors and supervisors.

Generate and submits status report, time and expense reports on time.

Comply with all of our policies and procedures.
Requirements:

At least 3 years of real working as Java developer.

Possesses a good knowledge of relational database concepts.

Possesses a good knowledge of various database access methods.
-
Possesses a good knowledge SQL statements.
-
Working knowledge of Objects Oriented programming and design patterns.

Possesses knowledge of JavaScript language.
-
Possesses knowledge of XML/XSL and Json data structure.
-
Possesses knowledge of Git or other control version system.
-
Fluency in English.
-
A recognised and relevant 3rd qualification.
