About the role
This role of IT Security Specialist encompasses a range of responsibilities related to managing and securing information technology (IT) devices and systems, helping to prevent and protect Fever from security threats, vulnerabilities and weaknesses that can potentially affect the IT environment.
We are currently seeking a candidate with expertise in the following areas to join our team:
- IT Device Management: Administration of IT devices (laptops, mobile, etc.) running a range of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and iOS).
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Knowledge of MDM tools with the ability to remotely deploy/install software and manage security policies (hard drive encryption, administrative user controls, etc.).
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) / Antivirus: Familiarity with EDR and antivirus tools, including policy enforcement and deployment on devices.
- Security Patching: Experience in applying security patching among different operation systems and applications.
- Networking and Protocols: Understanding of networks and protocols such as RDP, VDI, VPN, DNS, HTTPS, and more.
- Security Configuration and Hardening: Implementing security configurations and device hardening measures.
- Performance Metrics: Ability to gather metrics and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to IT Security performance.
- Security Mindset: Emphasis on a security-first mindset, including the principle of least privilege and automation of IT security processes.
- Proactive Risk Management: Proactive identification, resolution, and reporting of IT risks in a timely manner.
About you
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in IT administration and securing systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with MDM, EDR, antivirus and security solutions.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, strong problem-solving, analytical skills, autonomy and accountability.
