We are looking for a Junior Front-end Developer to join our exciting and dynamic team in the Barcelona offices.

We are searching for talented professional that is experienced and passionate about front-end development and the quirks of targeting multiple browsers on different devices to work on one of our two big projects with millions of hits every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-browser compatible code.
  • Work on front-end development solutions, methods, and practices.
  • Develop new and effective interactive design solutions on time and in scope.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in frontend development
  • Experience building cross browser, responsive websites with Semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Understand the DOM and how to manipulate it with JavaScript
  • Good understanding of AJAX, REST APIs, JSON
  • Comfortable with version control (Git)
  • Experience with automation tools (Gulp, Grunt) and/or bundlers (webpack, browserify)
  • Experience problem solving and debugging code on different browsers and devices
  • Fluent in English

Desired Skills:

  • Some UX/UI skills
  • Have used CSS methodologies (BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS)
  • Familiar with SASS
  • Some knowledge of Twig
  • Knowledge of WordPress
