Worldsensing products have been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for a stand-out IT Business Analyst to join the IT department in our Barcelona office for a 6-month contract.

The Loadsensing monitoring solution includes best-in-class edge devices, LoRa-based wireless connectivity and a cloud-based connectivity management platform. We also join forces with key industry players to offer software applications and solutions which engineering service providers use to add value to end customers.

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic IT/ERP Business Analyst to support the transition towards a new ERP system.

Key data about the role:

  • Department: IT, but working along with with Finance, Customer Operations and Sales departments.
  • Reports to: IT Manager
  • Type of contract: Temporary (6 months, likely to be extended to 12 months). Freelance or temporary employment contracts are both possible.
  • Scope of role: ERP implementation project
  • Non-competition agreement: Yes
  • Exclusivity: Yes

*You will work remotely while the COVID situation persists, but availability to attend the office is needed on some occasions.

The Mission: You will play a key role in helping us to implement a new ERP system, which will fully support our current and future needs.

Outcomes:

  • Business, functional and system requirements completed
  • Gap analysis between current processes and processes after ERP implementation
  • Overall project plan designed in coordination with department heads
  • New ERP software selection
  • System Integrator selection
  • Change management, ensuring that all changes to internal processes are completed and transitioned into normal practice
  • Achievement of key project milestones on time and within budget through effective Project Management
  • Document, structure and timely manage review process

Activities/Responsibilities :

  • Being involved in and finalizing all phases of the ERP implementation project
  • Collecting business requirements
  • Creating and documenting functional and non-functional specifications
  • Define best practice business processes in ERP system
  • Map the business requirements and processes
  • Identify and coordinate selection of possible ERP software solutions
  • Preparing and overseeing execution of testing plans
  • Performing quality control activities
  • Risk management
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with project managers and teams

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT/ERP Business Analysis and Project Management;
  • Experience in a software delivery / consultancy / implementation / project management related role
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field
  • Experience in multinational projects will be considered as a plus
  • Fluent knowledge of the English & Spanish language
  • Analytical thinking and focus on detail
  • Advanced communication skills both in writing and orally
  • Problem solving skills and ability to follow timelines and meet deadlines
  • Team player
