The role and the team
We never stop innovating and we want to build the products that will
change the way the users consume their telco’s services, towards a fully
digitalized experience..
The candidate will join the Fontech Home WiFi Team as an iOS
developer. This team is highly technical and product focused and is in
charge of developing the next generation of tools that the telcos will
use to manage their subscribers’ home WiFi experience from a holistic
point of view. This team is highly experienced in developing high
standard WiFi products for telco business. The candidate will be part of
the Mobile Apps scrum team and will participate in the design and
development of the iOS app. We follow agile methodologies not only for
the development team but also for the entire product lifecycle
management. .
Key responsabilities
- Working closely with the UX, UI and Android team members, define the best interactions for the users of the application.
- Develop the application that will manage state of the art tools to interact with WiFi access points and telco BSS/OSS.
- Deliver high quality and resilience proven developments.
Requirements
Must have:
- Two years of experience developing iOS applications
- We use SWIFT language to write our iOS application, so you should have demonstrable expertise with it.
- Experience consuming RESTfull APIs
- Experience with iOS 10 and newer OS versions
- Knowledge of Git and Gitflow
- Application architecture and design patterns, like MVVM and VIPER
- Ability to write, implement and manage iOS libraries
- Be open minded and a team player. With the willingness to learn and improve her/himself and the rest of the team
Nice to have:
- Experience building white-label applications, that can be integrated into third parties’
- Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Network protocols knowledge: WiFi, DHCP, ARP, HTTP,...
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Automatic build generation with Jenkins or Gitlab-CI
