THE TEAM
Eventbrite’s Briteling Experience team is dedicated to providing a positive, helpful, and welcoming experience to everyone who enters the Briteland, from our employees to guests, vendors, clients, and customers. As an HR Generalist, you will be part of our European Briteling Experience team, which includes HR, Recruiting, and Facilities.

THE ROLE
As our HR Generalist in Spain, you will be reporting into the HR Manager - Europe and be our on-the-ground ambassador tasked with engaging our Britelings and implementing thoughtful, scalable processes in the areas of onboarding, offboarding, and general HR compliance.

In this role, you will act as a dedicated HR partner to Britelings and Leaders in our Spanish Regions, taking charge of all HR duties. You will work in a matrix style structure, partnering with our Centres Of Excellence teams in Learning and Development, IT, Compensation and Reward, and Legal. As the Generalist, you will be responsible for all areas of HR from admin to business partnering and will therefore require you to be comfortable with hands on work as well as strategic projects.

YOU WILL

    • Provide advice to managers on all aspects of employment law and people management matters
    • Provide HR support to the business driving forward organisational change initiatives
    • Coach and advise managers in workforce planning and delivery of the company’s HR strategy
    • Provide a positive contribution to the development and delivery of HR policies and procedures
    • Support managers through employee relation issues (including investigating and documenting)
    • Work alongside the recruiting team, supporting them to partner with local leaders
    • Develop and drive initiatives to maximise employee engagement

THE SKILL SET

    • 4+ years experience in a HR generalist role doing similar functions
    • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish
    • Understanding of the Spanish employment laws is a must
    • Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR
    • Self motivated, Hands-on mentality
    • Demonstrated dedication to process improvement
    • Unquestioned integrity

BONUS POINTS

    • Previous experience working in a fast-paced growing company within the SaaS industry
    • Experience working in an autonomous environment
