This is our Head of Department (Product Integration Department) role.
Tasks in the role
Build and manage multiple infrastructure development teams responsible for implementing infrastructure allowing hundreds of software engineers to deliver customer value to production systems simultaneously without compromising UX.
Work in collaboration with product engineering teams and product managers to make decisions that affect both DevEx and UX.
Own and create a strategy of product integration to allow Semrush to work as a whole product, not a bunch of tools
Measure the efficiency and quality of the integration part of Semrush platform infrastructure
Actively participate and influence decisions in the overall Platform Infrastructure Strategy.
Grow the team of infrastructure product managers.
Who we are looking for
Solid experience in managing teams in the field of Platform Engineering.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of development practices and processes, including understanding of DevOps.
High level of knowledge of product analytics (and experience in applying it).
Basic knowledge of UX patterns and methodologies.
Skills in people management, skills development, and mentoring.
Experience in building and managing effective product engineering teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
English proficiency to at least an intermediate level.
Experience managing engineering partnerships with a variety of vendors' data sources/systems.

The Product Integration Department provides tools, services, processes, and systems, allowing Semrush software engineers to integrate their products into a single Semrush.com user interface to ensure our users have an outstanding experience. We do this to provide Semrush’s customers with a consistent user experience, look, and feel as a whole product, to increase customer satisfaction leveraging on common solutions, and to not slow down new customer value delivery.
