Job Description

THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite is one of the largest and most popular event ticketing and registration platforms in the world, hosting more than 2.5 million events each year across the globe.  In the near future, the majority of Eventbrite’s business will come from outside of the United States. The company is currently in a phase of strong international growth, with offices in 11 countries and having powered events in over 180 countries. In Spain, we have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a marketing leader to drive this continued growth.

THE TEAM
Iberia (Spain and Portugal) is one of Eventbrite’s fastest growing and most important markets, where every year we empower tens of thousands of event organisers to achieve their goals using Eventbrite’s platform. The Spain Marketing team is responsible for driving continued business growth in the region across all stages of the marketing lifecycle, including brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention, and demand generation.

THE ROLE
Reporting directly into the Country Manager - Spain, you’ll be a key part of the region’s leadership team, helping to define overall strategy and ensuring continued rapid growth and commercial success. In this role, you’ll provide leadership to the Madrid based marketing team, set the marketing strategy and ensure effective execution. You’ll also work closely with our international marketing teams based in San Francisco and other Eventbrite markets. You keenly understand acquisition marketing and demand generation, and have a strong sense for how to use a range of marketing channels to drive growth throughout the customer acquisition funnel and beyond. You have led teams before, and are comfortable operating in markets with multiple customer segments and verticals as well as a range of customer value tiers.
You have experience in marketing to both the long-tail of the market as well as up-market, and are versed in the tactics used to communicate in both environments. You value data and use insights to inform marketing plans, and are able to optimise ROI effectively. You disrupt the status quo and constantly innovate. This is an office based role in Madrid. • Commercially focused
    • Flexible, positive attitude, where you’re comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
