About the role:
Verse is currently live across most European markets and we are
looking to take our growth to the next level throughout Europe in 2019.
To help us achieve this, we are looking for a Head of Growth with strong
analytical skills and a can-do attitude who is driven by a sense of
urgency. If you have meaningful product growth experience, have built
& experimented with growth models across diverse customer
acquisition channels, and you have identified and implemented viral
growth strategies, you have the opportunity to put all of this to action
at Verse, a fast-growing global fintech startup.
What you will do:
Own the go-to-market strategy and roll-out of our awesome P2P
payments app throughout Europe. You’ll be responsible for designing and
executing our strategy for user acquisition and retention from
end-to-end, with the objective of growing our user base to millions of
monthly active users
Lead the planning, development, and
implementation of user acquisition and retention strategies in
conjunction with the management team
Uncover new growth
opportunities (including new platforms, channels, partnerships, and
third-party integrations) to acquire new active users
Lead
BI and data analysis efforts to develop a scientific and viral growth
model that capitalizes on product hooks, loops and drivers
Optimize
conversion through multivariate and A/B testing through media
campaigns, organic initiatives, and conversion rate optimization
Constantly
scrutinize and analyze all ongoing user acquisition initiatives and
strategies, reacting appropriately to adjust marketing investment to the
most efficient user acquisition channels
Work closely
with the product team to innovate on our ability to grow our business
and deliver a world-class payments experience to our highly-engaged user
base
What you will bring:
You’re a Verse power user, an advocate for the platform, and passionate about fintech
4 - 9+ years of relevant work experience with a demonstration of achievement in growth initiatives
Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and multitask at scale, working with cross-functional groups
Extremely comfortable with data analysis tools and modelling. Fluency with mySQL, R, Python or other programming languages
UX experience and deep understanding of product flows & funnels
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Hands-on, scrappy, can-do attitude that is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve growth goals
Tech-savvy and experienced with industry-leading user acquisition and CRM tools
Native speaker of either Spanish or English, with fluency in the other language preferred
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the fintech sector or in a rapidly-growing startup
Deep expertise in digital marketing channels, with knowledge of advanced targeting & testing techniques
Broad exposure in acquisition channels, experience in offline channels, retargeting, native ads a plus
